Flying Down to Rio – yes, in Rio June 2012!

Delighted to announce that Flying Down to Rio will be, er, flying down to Rio de Janeiro this June – 14 June 2012, to be exact. Dorothy's Shoes have been invited to appear at the Entre_Lugares festival at Sergio Porto theatre, twinned with the Chelsea Theatre London (where the show premiered November 2011 as part of the Sacred season).

Flying Down to Rio will be the opening show of the festival, which will also feature Ant Hampton from Rotozaza, Action Hero, and Ron Athey – alongside a whole swathe of Brazilian artists. All the UK contingent are supported by the British Council and are coming to Brazil as a cultural exchange, in collaboration with Sacred at Chelsea Theatre who are supporting the project.
